Dr Jenny Davis recently published a new book, How Artifacts Afford, through MIT Press. The book offers a conceptual update of affordance theory that introduces the mechanisms and conditions framework, providing a vocabulary and critical perspective for the power and politics of everyday things.

The book featured at #1 on Amazon's Hot New Releases list for Human-Computer Interaction and the Table of Contents and Introduction are now available Open Access at the above link. Order one for your school library (or your personal collection!) today!
